Dr. Baker – Interventional Cardiologist & Cardiovascular Researcher
Dr. Baker joined Cardiology Physicians, PA in 2023 following the completion of his interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan, one of the nation’s leading cardiovascular programs. He brings advanced expertise in catheter-based interventions, coronary artery disease, and a broad scope of general cardiology care, offering patients both procedural skill and a deeply personalized approach to heart health.
Dr. Baker earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin before obtaining his medical degree from Rutgers University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Boston University, followed by a fellowship in general cardiology and a subsequent fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Michigan.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Baker has contributed to the field through published research and presentations in cardiology and vascular medicine. Originally from northern New Jersey, Dr. Baker met his wife Johanna just a quarter mile from his childhood home. Together, they traveled across the country during his years of medical training and now reside in the area with their two young children, Louden and Callum.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Baker enjoys spending quality time with his family at Long Beach Island, where they often retreat to relax and recharge.
